Melissa is a native to Charlotte and grew up in the Matthews area. She graduated from East Mecklenburg High School and then went on to earn her business degree from Queens University in Charlotte.
She is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have 2 teenage boys. They enjoy playing golf together as a family.
After their second child was born they knew they needed more space and began searching for property on which to build their home. They fell in love with Waxhaw and have lived here ever since.
