Michele Szabo

Michele grew up in Charlotte, NC graduating from South Mecklenburg High School and then headed to the University of North Carolina Greensboro to receive her B.A. Since 1994 she started selling log home kits and setting up dealers, nationally, and in 2001 started American Log Homes and Cabins with her dad. She has owned and run the company since 2016 when her dad became ill. She recently decided to expand her horizons and offer to help find land for those in need in NC and SC for their log home along with helping other buyers find their dream traditional home, farm, or just land…she is at your service! Michele is super grateful to join Farms and Estates Realty LLC just down the street from her American Log Homes and Cabins office in Waxhaw, NC.
Michele has one son, Adam, who recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with distinction (so proud). She also has two golden retrievers, Captain America and Sadie, Sadie the pretty lady. Adam acquired a Fluffy Frenchie in college, so Taco is now also a part of the pack. In her spare time, Michele is an avid reader, loves to travel and dabbles in photography.
